Board of Directors

The Fort La Présentation Association is an all-volunteer organization, our Board of Directors are also all volunteers. See below for our current team that makes up the Board of Directors.

President – Barbara O’Keefe is a retired educator active in the Ogdensburg community.

1st Vice President – Fred Hanss is the Director of Planning and Economic Development, Village of Potsdam.

2nd Vice President – Timothy W. Cryderman is a re-enactor with many years experience.

Secretary – Judith Cree Ryan is a health-care professional.

Treasurer – Eric Brunet, AIF, CWS, is Vice President/Financial Consultant, Community Investment Services – LPL Financial

David Austin is an adjunct faculty member of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a love for history and designing museum exhibition and interpretive signage.

Ted Como is a journalist, historian and genealogist and maintains a website of vintage Ogdensburg images at http://www.ogdensburg.info

Donald Hooper is a former county legislator, involved in the Elks Club, NYSSCPA, and AICPA, and is excited to bring his experience in accounting and finances to the Fort Association.

Marsha Hough is a retired educator, a re-enactor and member of Forsyth’s Rifles, a member of the Ogdensburg Historic Commission and active community volunteer.

Deborah Janson is Ogdensburg resident has supported the Fort for numerous years, and is excited to continue that support as a board member.

Ronald Lee Keeler is a Canadian citizen bringing many years of experience being a re-enactor and expertise in various government roles including being a previous city planner for Ottawa and Brockville.

Andrew D. Kennedy is the retired Chief of Police for Ogdensburg, an active community member, and is passionate about local history.

Bill Merna is a member of Ogdensburg Kiwanis, Section X Boys Basketball Chairman and is a retired social studies teacher.

John Miller III is an artist and re-enactor.

Marijean Remington is an environmental consultant and CEO of Atlantic Testing Laboratories with previous experience working with the Fort Association.

Dallas Robinson is retired from Alcoa and is a member of Forsyth’s Rifles’ artillery crew and a rifleman.

Jennifer Stevenson is the RE Broker/ Owner of Blue Heron Realty of Ogdensburg and a longtime active community volunteer.
